Hi there, I am Narinder Purewal, a single mother of two children and a teacher who works with children and
young people with an autism spectrum condition or an identified social, emotional or mental health need.

I have been a single mother for 12 years now. (since my daughter was 6months old). Although I am a single mother their father plays an active role in their upbringing too.

My children are biracial and come from diverse backgrounds. I am ‘Punjabi’ and from the Sikh faith and their father is ‘Black’ and comes from the Jamaican culture. We are both born and raised in the United Kingdom.
